The cosmetic industry uses vacuum technology for various applications such as handling perfume bottles, opening and shaping boxes, inserting leaflets, transporting powders, packaging, label and seal picking. NOVACOM components are therefore present in each of these applications.

Gripping and Handling
Depending on the nature and shape of the object, the suction cup used will be different. NOVACOM offers a wide range of flat, bellows, and oblong suction cups (series 4, 5, 7, and 9). For example, we will choose a flat suction cup for a smooth surface, but a suction cup with a foam strip will be more suitable for a box with reliefs. Several materials are also available, for example, for box handling, silicone suction cups will be preferred, while for bottle handling, nitrile suction cups will be used.
Quick Drying
NOVACOM offers a wide range of blowing elements as well as vortex tubes used on the hot air outlet side to quickly dry ink or labels.
Venturi Performance
The environment of the cosmetic industry can be corrosive (aggressive vapor such as alcohol) and damage the venturi seals. To ensure the performance of the vacuum circuit, NOVACOM therefore recommends choosing multi-stage venturis with special viton or silicone seals.
To easily check clogging and debris collected in the filter, plastic tanks are most commonly used.
Filtration
For powder transport, pneumatic conveyors, air amplifiers, and suction wands (series TP, AA, and CANDAS) perform this function. These products are also available in stainless steel.
